Stefy Modesto
Teacher - Vinyasa
Stefy received her 200-hour RYT in 2015 and has been practicing and teaching ever since, She received another 200 hours in 2022 which has allowed her to strengthen and expand her practice. Yoga has become an essential tool in her life and one that she carries outside of asana itself. Through yoga she has been able to control the mind-stuff or the “citta” and although its not perfect, it is a constant reminder that with time and practice it gets easier. Being able to separate herself from the outside world and find peace is something she didn’t think she could achieve at this point in her life, Stefy is incredibly grateful to this practice because it has become so much more than just movement and has truly allowed her to understand herself and those around her. Stefy is proud to be part of small businesses and want to create a diverse and accepting community wherever she go. She is passionate about the healing and restorative properties of yoga along with delivering a safe space for students to learn and grow through their flow, and a believer in the power of healing through touch. She is Miami-born and raised and has been in Boston for about two years. She love to travel and open her heart and mind to new experiences.
In her classes you can expect fun sweaty vinyasa flows with upbeat music and a variety of hands-on assists. We start class with breath work and mindfulness, carrying over into a flow that will leave you feeling strong, sweaty, and ready for a sweet savasana.
